And so, in honor of our fourth birthday, CD Projekt RED didn’t just release a patch, they rolled out a really cool update that is just ripping! Patch 2.2 isn’t just bugfixes, it’s a straight up “oh, wow” level upgrade. The developers continue to prove that they don’t just sit around chewing the snot, they actually make their game better.
Patch 2.2 is Truly a Buzzkill!
First off, over 100 new customization items for Vee. Now you can pump up your character the way you want – appearance, style, emotions. It’s not just a change of clothes, but a real fun! You can customize your image to your chips and stand out among the crowd. And if you’re a photo magnet – now you can really take cool pictures, which you can then hang in your apartment. You want a really cool shot of Night City, no problem!
Also, Johnny Silverhand isn’t just talking in your head anymore. He rides around Night City with you in the car, chatting, bantering, and generally adding atmosphere to every trip. It’s not just an addition, it’s a straight up “eh, how cool is that?”.
Repainting Cars is Really Cool Now
But the most bomb in this patch is the “Crystal Coating” system. Are you tired of your car being visible from a kilometer away? Now you can repaint it on the fly! And it’s not just a beauty trick – it’s a real tactic! If a cop chases you, you can quickly change the color of the car and slip away. Yeah, just like in GTA, except here you really have to think about how to survive in Night City. Quickly repainted and – voila, the cops don’t see you anymore. This element adds more dynamics to the game and really helps in emergency situations. No dumb chase – you can catch the moment and get away from all the problems.
Now the Game is Not Just About Cars, But About Survival in Night City
Now you don’t just sit in a car and drive around the city. The car has become a real tool for survival in a cruel world. You can pump it up, customize it, and use it to get away from chases, battles, and just about anything else. Every choice now matters, and these new mechanics make Cyberpunk 2077 an even more strategic game. You don’t just have to think about how to pump weapons or find quests – now you have to think about how to survive in Night City, where every corner could be your last.
This Game Has Gotten Really Cool!
When you look at the game today, you realize that Cyberpunk 2077 is completely different. It’s not just a game with a lot of bugs, but a real universe with its own life, its own rules and its own atmosphere. Patch 2.2 is not just a chip, it’s a whole new level for the game.
